Slip and Fall Injuries

Occupier liability cases involve accidents that occur due to negligent maintenance, or reasonably unsafe or dangerous conditions upon property owned or occupied by someone other than the accident victim.

Property owners and business establishments have a duty to provide a safe environment for individuals invited onto their premises. Common situations giving rise to occupier liability accidents include uneven floor surfaces, wet floors without warning, poorly marked changes in elevation, slippery surfaces without warning, broken sidewalks, uneven elevators and broken steps.

These types of injuries often occur at a residential home, at a shopping mall, on a dance floor, at a race track, in an airport – or any establishment that requires an occupier to provide reasonable safety for its visitors. Haber Lawyers have handled thousands of slip and fall cases over our 45 years serving the Halton and surrounding communities. Many of these cases involve victims who have been severely injured, become paraplegic or even killed as a result of an establishment failing to protect its visitors from known dangers.

If you or a loved one have been injured as a result of a dangerous or hazardous condition on a property, the lawyers at Haber Lawyers will be pleased to discuss your rights with you without cost or obligation.
